The first season of the PBS "Secrets of the Dead" are versions of the UK (Channel 4) documentary series of the same name. The episodes in this season were reworked (re-edited, re-branded, and re-narrated by Roy Scheider) from the UK episodes. The episodes were originally available on VHS as a season set and individually.

These six episodes of this PBS documentary series are adapted from the UK series of the same name, but are re-edited, re-branded, and re-narrated by Liev Schreiber.
