In the third season, the investigations of the team led by Sgt. Ayanna Bell focus on the opening of the first casino in New York, totally entangled with the mafia. It is managed by Teddy Silas and his wife Pearl. In his private life, Stabler finds himself living alone, because Eli has started college in California and Bernie has moved in with one of his nieces.

Detective Elliot Stabler finds strength in justice as his team fights to stop New York's most dangerous criminal syndicates. Contending with fraught relationships at home, Stabler is fearless in his determination to bring the darkness of corruption to light - no matter the cost.
Season 5
Season five explores the dangerous worlds of cross-border smuggling, high-tech domestic terrorism and a crime family intent on repaying Stabler for the injury he did them in Rome. As his worlds collide, Stabler will put everything on the line to protect the vulnerable and fight for justice.
